My first name is JinSeok and last name is Kim. I'm from Korea. I was born in Korea on May 4, 1960. After graduating from an art university with a degree in oil painting, I was active in an art institute for ten years as an artist.

    First, I'd like to thank JinSeok Kim for inviting me to become one of the judges for the Korean Awards Program. I am honored!

   The photo shown is of me on my Andalusian mare, Lucea, whom I compete with on the National level. Lucea is a great horse and I am blessed to own her.

   I am a Navy veteran, having served 15 years in active duty service. Following my Navy career, I spent 10 years in the corporate world, working in Information Systems where I provided training in software applications, drafted user documentation and did systems analysis and process mapping in conjunction with software implementations.

   Through my various jobs, I've visited most of the states in the US, including Hawaii.
I lived on the island of Guam for 4 years and have been to Sweden, Denmark, France and Mexico.

   About 6 years ago, I started taking classes in programming and got hooked on designing web sites. I've got 10 sites on the WWW and 5 more in development. I recently left the corporate world to start my own small web-design business and to take care of my father who is 86 (and still going strong!). I do much of my web design work for free or for barter. I enjoy giving to and helping others - that is what is important to me in life.

   I'm happily married to an engineer (who is also a Navy veteran). One of my husband's major interests is photography and I designed and administer his website, SW Photography, VSDA, APIRS. We are proud to say that our site was recently accepted by APEX.
I am Evaluator for the "Astral Awards" program, "VSDA", "Firestarter Awards", "Franzi´s Reptilian Award Program".

      My name is Tim Beylemans, I was born on 16 May 1965 in Belgium. I live in a small village with my American Stafford and own 200+ bird spiders. I have my own company in road-building, which is sometimes hard labor.

   I did make several websites and my other hobby's are guns, motorcycles and fast cars.

   About my guns well in Belgium you need a separate room with a steel door and bars behind every window of the room. You needs a lot of licences and you have to be a member of a club to keep those licences. Also I make my own bullets for my great hobby "Bench rest" shooting.

Most of my free time I spend behind my computer and also repair computers for friends.

   I hope to meet some of my Internet friends after a while, but actually I meet Huub and we became friends and visit each other for a while now. Besides Huub I made a lot friends and I hope to meet them also, which probably is a problem through the distance, but you never know!

Mr. Luis Vadillo is Owner and webmaster of the Villa de Alcazaren website and the Alcazaren Award Program. Born in Spain, he is a Physicist working in Madrid in the aerospace industry with experience in satellite tracking stations, Quality Assurance and Information Technology. Started working with computers building an Intel S-100 bus system, owned and played with an Intel SDK-85, etc. He has worked in several programming languages and operating systems. Other interests apart from computers: astronomy, space research and biking.

Luis is the Spanish language reviewer for the WWWEC (World Wide Web Ethics Community). He is also an IWARA (International Web Award Rating Association) Certified Evaluator. Also, he has worked as an evaluator for the Webs Awards AP rating program.

Colaborates with the Tim's Spider Corner award program as a Spanish language website evaluator. He was also Spanish language website evaluator for the now closed Cerulian Vault and Big Eye award programs.

In order to help webmasters who desire to enhace their websites, Luis has joined TEAM (Team Evaluation and Mentoring), visit the TEAM website and request free help from its members.

The evaluation experience gained while visiting applicant's websites does help this one constantly, changes are frequently done specially in those aspects related with better coding, accessibility and design. Please note that a good evaluator is not necessarily a good web designer, nor the contrary.

Being also an evaluator of an AP rating program has enabled Luis to have a closer contact with other APs, directly and in several forums. No two APs are equal, but all have high ethical standards and a common goal, a better Internet.
