Korea traditional music comes alive with live images of the past. Danwon Kim Hong-do and Hyewon Shin Yoon-bok were two greatest painters of Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) who focused on the portrayal of everyday lives of commoners. Thanks to the state-of-art technology the old paintings of musical performance that'll be shown at the stage through video, will later be demonstrated by real musicians and dancers.
The actual performances will include gagok, a long lyric song, cheoyoungmu (dance of Cheoyoung), Geomungo (6-string zither), bipa (lute) and saenghwang (mouth organ) byeongju, geommu (sword dance), hallyangmu (Hallyang dance), and others.
