The best of stage actors and staff members from Korea and Japan have came together to pull off a therapy musical The Sound Silence. The story goes back to the time of World War II when so many youths died of war. The musical depicts the tragedy of lost love. The Sound of Silence, after completing the performance in Korea and Japan in 2009, plans to go to China in 2010 and then London, signaling a new era of Asian musicals.
Synopsis
In Japan, at one mental hospital one old man suddenly cries out "Mother!" then faints. It was the year 1931 and the old man recalls his Korean mother. He remembers his lost love and the haunting experience of war. When he managed to return home finally, he is then, forced to witness the effect of atomic bomb.
