For this month's cultural event we will be learning how to make pottery. Korean pottery is well known around the world for its high quality and pottery making is a very important art form in Korea.
The class will be at the War Memorial Museum and participants will get to experience both the making of the pottery and decoration of a finished piece. The decorated finished piece can be taken home after the class and the other piece can be picked up later at the Global Village Center after it has been fired.
Participants will also get free entrance to the War Memorial Museum and can spend some time there after the class. Alternatively, there is also a fun Rolling Ball Museum there for an extra fee of 4,000 won. Both the pottery making and the museums can be a lot of fun for adults and children, so anyone is welcome to join.
This event will take place on Thursday July 23rd and we will meet at the War Memorial at 9:40am. There is a participation fee of 10,000 won and spaces are limited. To register please contact us at the center.Further Information
