The Heungtaryeong Dance Festival celebrates the traditional dances, songs, and costumes of Korea. Cheonan is a transportation hub that is connected to Seoul by subway, train, and bus, so it is easily accessible even for first-time visitors.
Of the numerous events, some, such as the singing and dance competitions, encourage international visitors to participate. There is also a reenactment of a traditional Korean wedding ceremony.
