World's Top Award SOTY Winners This SITE OF THE YEAR (SOTY) award is for the "best of the best." This award is given only once a year. All TOP Award and Special (Friendship) Award winners for the year (January through December) are eligible. Every January, our judges will determine the SOTY.

The ATGP Award for Excellent Genealogy was established early 2005 and is one of the very few rated award programs based on the theme "Genealogy". This Award Program honors websites with genealogical and resource value. Sites that rise above others in both graphics and genealogical information and that are well designed can be nominated for this award. There are three levels of excellence: Gold, Silver and Bronze. All winners of the Gold award are eligible for "Site of the Year" consideration. Main goal of the award program is to stimulate and award all the work applicants put in their genealogy and in building a website that's worthy to present that work.
